Benjamin Millepied is an internationally renowned dancer, choreographer, filmmaker and versatile artist with an outstanding talent for both storytelling and movement.

Millepied is known for his innovative fusion of classical ballet and contemporary dance and began his career as a principal dancer with the NYC Ballet. He later founded the dance company ‘L.A. Dance Project‘, and was appointed Director of the Paris Opera Ballet from 2014 to 2016.

He gained widespread recognition beyond the dance world through his work as choreographer and actor on the 2010 Oscar-winning film «Black Swan» and more recently as the director of the 2023 feature film «Carmen», starring Paul Mezcal.

Benjamin does additionally act as the cofounder and artistic director of ‘Paris Dance Project’ an artistic initiative aiming to bring together communities of artists and audiences in an inclusive and social approach.
